How these figures are counted

Each completed UFC bout counts once. Finishes require a recorded winner and KO/TKO, TKO or submission. Finish share is those wins divided by every completed bout in the stated sample. Draws, no contests, disqualifications and other results remain in the denominator. Scheduled and unfinished cards, plus known partial catalog imports, are excluded.

Event groups are the archive's result groupings, rather than a count of numbered and Fight Night shows. The 2025 sample also includes the two official UFC bouts staged at Road to UFC Season 4, Episode 6 on 22 August: one submission and one decision, recorded as one additional event group. Tournament bouts from that show are excluded. UFC's official recap identifies the two UFC bouts.

Divisions use the weight class recorded for the bout, including fighters who later moved. These are historical proportions, not probabilities for an upcoming matchup. Source corrections may revise the totals.
